Blue Air flight delayed

May 7th, 2005 | General |

I just woke up, after some hours of sleep. I flight back with Blue Air. We had a small delay. Because of the weather from Rome Ciampino Airport the flight from Bucharest that should come at 19.00 and fly back in the same day at 19.30 had a delay. It left Bucharest with 2 hours of delay and it landed after some other good minutes of flying over the Rome. In the end it landed on Fiumicino airport. There was other 5 flight in the same situation: Easyjet, Ryanair and Wizz Air flights. Cool. All passengers, almost 900 people where put to take the luggage back, to pass again through passports control (because they were entering again in Italy) and then all these people were moved with 40-places busses to Fiumicino. We arrived there and nobody knew what happened with our planes. Sorry, but a plane is not small and there is a control tower. My conclusion was that the girls there were not paid for offering such information. The airport was almost empty at that time. It was around 22.30. There were 2 or 3 more flights to go: one for Athens, one for Beijing and one for Johannesburg. In the end the first “lost plane” is landing: Easyjet. Then ours… We left Italy at 2am (Italian time) and we arrived at Bucharest at 5 in the morning. In the end I just remembered that I’ve paid just 59 euro on the ticket. But still congratulation to the crew people that were very tired and maybe angry too, but still kind with passengers.
